About Buhl, ID - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!
Situated along the historic Oregon Trail, the city of Buhl is located in Twin Falls County, Idaho, approximately one-hundred twenty miles southeast of the capital city of Boise. Founded in 1906, Buhl is presently home to a population of approximately 4,100 residents who enjoy the city’s semi-arid climate that produces hot dry summers, cold snowy winters, and lovely mild weather during the moderate, albeit brief, seasons of spring and autumn.
Positioned along the Snake River on the western end of the Magic Valley, Buhl is an outdoor sports and recreation lover’s paradise. Numerous opportunities for fishing exist in nearby lakes and streams, such as House Creek, Jim Bob Reservoir and Big Lake, while destinations popular with hikers and whitewater rafters include Balanced Rock Park and Salmon Creek Canyon. Buhl is also home to a number of trout hatcheries that produce the majority of the rainbow trout consumed in the U. S., hence the city’s nickname “Trout Capital of the World.”
Conveniently located on U.S. Route 30, just twenty miles east of I-84, Buhl is a great place to live, work, and raise a family!
